After Canada and Australia, the UK is considering increasing the number of hours students will be allowed to work part-time. Currently, the UK is facing a problem of labor shortage. This is the reason why the government of the UK is planning to allow 30 hours of part time work per week for international students. This will allow students to earn more money and at the same time will help the UK government with the labor shortage.
The home secretary Suella Braverman is also considering reducing the graduate student visa route to six months from the existing two years post study work. All of these things are right now being considered by the government of the UK. No official statement has been released as of yet. It is likely that the UK will take this decision in the coming few months.
