This is the reason why they have achieved their annual visa target even before the expected time. It is assumed that the rise in the number of visas is because of a higher number of applicants. Students have been opting to study abroad in higher numbers after the pandemic. in 2022 September end, the UK issued around 70000 graduate visas to students.
This is actually a very good sign for the UK economy as more international students will add on to the GDP of the country. But many people are concerned about the validation of these graduate visas. It is important to offer visas to students who deserve it and not just for the sake of money. The UK government has been accused of selling student visas to international students in order to bring more money to the country. As a result, many people are demanding a further investigation to check if all these visas that have been granted are well deserving or not.
