A lot of times your university will tell you to keep your BRP safe because it is a form of your identity card. But the question is where do you get your BRP card from? BRP is a form of an identification credential that you have to carry with yourself as an international student. If you have a BRP card then you do not need to carry your passport everywhere. Every international student who plans to study in the UK for more than six months must have this card.
