As per the latest data from the Ministry of external affairs of India, Indian students are now officially studying in more than 150 countries around the world. Despite this versatility, the top choices of Indian students still remains Canada, Australia and the UK. But many students are now travelling to countries like the Philippines, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan for their higher education, which represents that Indian students are becoming more diverse and open in their choices.
The number of students travelling to different foreign countries for higher education has broken all the previous records. Now more and more students want to travel to different countries to pursue their higher education. In 2022 itself, more than seven lakh students went to different countries to study abroad. Looking back in 2017, this number was 4.5 lakhs. This means that there has been a potential increase in the number of students going to various countries for study abroad.
