As per the recent data, it has been found that more than 50% of the international students currently studying in the US are from India and China combined. As per the open doors report 2023, international students in the US cross the 1 million mark for the first time post pandemic. The US has finally reached its pre-pandemic number of international students and it seems like everything is getting back to normal. Currently 27% of the total students studying in the US from foreign countries are from China. 25% of these students are from India. Indian students have officially surpassed Chinese students pursuing masters or other professional degrees in the US. Technically speaking one out of every four international students studying in the US currently is from India.
