Reenford Reese, who is a professor in the Department of Political Science has donated 100K Dollars for student's study abroad programs. Reese who has been teaching now for 26 years believes that teaching must not be limited to only classrooms and shall be explored beyond that. Reese sold a parcel of his land to a non profit organization and donated the received money. Reese wants this money to benefit those students who are not able to avail the already available study abroad programs that universities offer due to money restrictions. Prior to this students were encouraged to apply for scholarships either based on their merit or their financial status. Prior to the pandemic most of these trips were held outside the country but now since the pandemic had started the trips have been restricted within the country itself.
