Around 174 students from India have won the prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarship. The students have won the scholarship for the academic year 2023 to 2024. Over 50% of these selected students are females. Over 2835 students from various countries have been given the scholarship this year. The Indian students who have won the scholarship will be leaving the country soon to pursue their higher education in Europe.
The Erasmus scholarship is a joint consortium of various universities. The scholarship is meant to support students from around the world who want to study in a foreign country, but lack the means and finances.
