A DAAD survey was conducted in Germany among international students in which it was found that 8 out of 10 students said that Germany was their first priority. This survey was conducted among 117,000 students studying in German higher education institutions in 2020-21. In a recent DAAD survey, 76% of the students said that Germany was their first choice while coming abroad. The 2021 to 2022 survey was conducted between 350,000 students who are studying in Germany. 47% of the students are studying their masters degree and 35% of the students are studying bachelors degree. The rest of the students are pursuing their doctorate degree.
