The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) recently said that the number of international students studying in Germany has been increasing massively. The number of international students enrolling in German universities has increased even more in the winter semester. There has been an increase of 2 to 4% in 2022 as compared to the previous year. After the pandemic, the increase of international students studying in Germany has been massive.
The top countries that make up the most international students are Germany and India. The other contributors include Russia, Iran, Turkey, Italy, Cameroon, Ukraine, France, the United States, etc. A lot of other European countries have witnessed a similar phenomena. France for instance has also seen a massive growth in the number of international students coming to study in French universities.
