posted on: July 26, 2022

K-drama and k-pop have gripped all over the world and it seems like a new pandemic together. But this pandemic, unlike others, has introduced us to a rather dreamy and addictive world of South Korea's entertainment industry. Their food, clothes, makeup, and cities seem very simple yet perfect. Many youngsters around the world now carry an ardent desire to travel to South Korea for their education. But you must know that South Korea is a very competitive country and kids there start preparing for their future as young as the age of 2 or 3. Here is a list of top South Korean universities-

  • Seoul National University (SNU)- established in 1946, this university is a pioneer in South Korea’s education system and till today its prominence and impact remain the same. The university has a very strong alumni record including United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and former World Health Organization Director Lee Jong-Wook. It offers undergraduate programs during the Fall and Spring semester for international students, who attend SNU as an exchange or visiting students or participate in their International Summer Programme.
  • Korea University- this university was founded in 1905 and is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities of South Korea. According to the latest data, it currently has 1885 international students. You can enroll here as a full-time student or even gain experience as an exchange student.
  • Yonsei University- this famous university is a shooting location for a lot of K-dramas. Over 1000 courses here are taught completely in English which is why it is a favourable option for many students. It also has a six-week summer and winter program for students.
