A huge number of universities from India have made it to the final ranking of the Times higher education Asia University rankings. Last year only 71 universities were able to make it to the list. This year 75 universities have been featured in the list of 2023. Japan is the most represented country in the list with 117 universities making it to the final list. It is followed by China whose 95 universities have made it to the final list. 18 universities from India have made it to the top 200 list. The top 10 Indian institutes to feature in the rankings are International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (=106), Alagappa University (111), Saveetha University (=113), Jamia Millia Islamia (=128), IIT Ropar (=131), and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi except for the IITs and IIMs.
