posted on: June 15, 2023

India is the second largest source of international students for Australia. Currently more than seven lakh international students from India are studying in Australia. Australia and India have shared a strong alliance since 1971 after both the countries signed an agreement to foster international education. Indian migrants are one of the most thriving communities in Australia who also contribute a lot to the economy. In 2020, India has signed the new education policy that will introduce revolutionary changes in the education system of India. One of the agenda behind India's decision to revolutionise the education system is to align the degree system with that of famous countries like Australia. This will help students in getting jobs abroad. Indian students are drawn to Australia because of its high quality of education and after study work opportunities.
