posted on: August 24, 2022

Australia's first private fully online school will be started by next year in Melbourne. The school will enroll students from age 5 to 12 and the annual fee will be AU$18,000. This is the response to a recent survey that was conducted in Australia which showed that after 2019, 44% of the parents would prefer to educate their children at home. To solve this problem the initiative of a fully online school was taken up that will provide parents with the flexibility of time and place of education. This will also spare them from the hard work of selecting a suitable teacher for them and even taking out personal time for educating their child. An online school will function just like a normal school but the only difference is that the mode of education will be virtual. It is also very beneficial for students who are geographically isolated and have to travel long distances in order to reach schools. Students suffering from medical ailments are the ones who will also be benefited from this online mode of education. These days a lot of school kids face the issues of bullying, depression, and school-related anxiety. Online education will hamper any such problem.
