Brunel University is one of the 18 British Universities to receive a funding of 60 million EUR for the purpose of supporting participle physics. Funding will be used in expanding the work on the famous Large Handron Collider and maintenance and operation of the Compact Muon Solenoid’s massive Silicon Tracker which is one of the biggest device ever built. The device will help scientists and researchers to continue their research on CERN. Students of Brunel will also be able to test and get involved in algorithms.
