Canada has banned the universities of its province, British Columbia from enrolling any international student in the coming two years. British Columbia announced this news recently as a temporary halt that all the universities in the province will have to follow. British Columbia is one of the most significant Canadian provinces to give admission to international students and has a huge population of Indian students. A lot of top universities like the University of Victoria, the University of British Columbia and the Simon Fraser University are a part of the British Columbia province. British Columbia will also be revising a lot of rules meant for students and immigrants. The minimum language requirements at most of the private institutions will be raised. This will help in setting a better quality standard in the labour market and students with skills and communication power will be able to graduate from the universities.
