Canada has introduced a note of policies related to international students in the past few months. The minimum financial requirement has been increased, English proficiency levels have been modified, and there has been a cap on the number of international students each province in Canada can accept in one year. After all this, the Canadian immigration minister has recently hinted that a new set of policies may be released in relation to the post study work visa regulations in the country. In the past five years, the demand for post work study visas has grown by 219%. Also the rules related to the post study visa programme have been the same since 2008. This is the reason why the country is planning to revamp the post study work visa policies and bring about new changes.
