There has been a sudden rise in the number of students opting for Canada for their higher studies and one of the biggest reasons is Brexit. Recent data from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada shows that in 2021 there was a noticeable jump of 10 to 80% of students coming from the European continent. European students have been taking the advantage of studying in the UK for years without any or negligible tuition fees. But since Britain's exit from the EU, these students have been looking for more potential options outside their continent for the purpose of their studies. Now Canada seems to be a suitable option for these students as the tuition fees are not that high as compared to the USA, Australia and Singapore etc. The visa process is also not that tough and it also gives after study work permits easily. Hence the number of students opting for Canada is a direct consequence of the UK leaving the EU.
