Canada to deport 700 Indian students over fake acceptance letters

posted on: May 09, 2023

Around 700 Indian students who travel to Canada in 2018 to 2019 are being deported because of fake acceptance letters. The fraud was founded by the Canadian immigration department when these students applied for permanent residentship in Canada and upon inspection, the documents were found to be fake.

Most of the students were transferred to Canada by an education consultant based in Jalandhar. All the students have been frauded by the education consultants and now they will have to go back home. The cases of fake documents have been increasing in Canada which is why the department has become extremely careful in analysing the documents of immigrants.
