CBSE will conduct board exams twice a year from 2025 onwards. This will be done to eradicate the pressure students have to go through while appearing for the board exams. The Ministry of Education has directed CBSE to make all the needed logistic arrangements for carrying out the board exams twice a year. Currently the planning of introducing a semester system has been rolled out. CBSE will be working on the construction of the curriculum this year and a new academic calendar will be made. Conducting board exams twice a year will give the students an opportunity to improve their performance by analysing their mistakes from the previous attempt. Students will have the liberty to choose the better scoring marks for their final report Card. The academic calendar will have to be structured in a way that students have ample of time between the two sessions of the board exams to prepare well.
