CBSE has decided to revise its examination pattern from the coming session. It will focus more on practical aspects of knowledge and thus will increase MCQ based questions and decrease long answer type questions. CBSE has taken this decision to align with the new education policy that focuses more on the practical aspects of education rather than theoretical -based knowledge. This will help students to prepare for the future entrance exams that they will have to give. Students will easily be able to answer questions related to critical thinking and innovation.
For class 10th, around 50% of the questions will be based on critical thinking, creative, thinking and innovation. they will be more competency-based and focused on case studies. The objective type questions will make for 20% of the question paper. The short answer and long answer type will make for 30%
