CBSE is all set to launch its pilot programme, National Credit Framework for classes 6, 9, and 11. This is definitely not a compulsory initiative and schools are free to choose whether they want to implement it or not. CBSE has asked interested schools and principals to drop their details through the official email ID of CBSE. Under this programme students will be indulging themselves in a credit based curriculum in which they will be awarded points for being a part of NCC, sports, laboratory projects, plays, and many more. The focus is to transform the classroom-based education to more skill-based and innovation-based teaching. All the earned credits will become a part of the students ABC ID.
