South Korea is one of the most competitive countries in the world regarding education. Students must study meticulously to get into one of the three most sought-after universities in the country, famously known as SKY. Generally, only 1% of the students appear for entrance. Exams of these universities can crack the exam. This is why students have decided to move to various foreign countries to pursue higher education and avoid unhealthy competition. From 2021 to 2022, 40,000 students from South Korea were studying in the US. The other students choose to study in China and Japan. South Korea has a declining population of younger generations. Despite this, many people from the country are moving to international universities to pursue education abroad.
