Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has distributed over Rs.47 crores to a number of underprivileged students for the purpose of higher education in foreign universities. The amount has been distributed among 357 selected students. Students have been selected from SC, ST and OBC backgrounds. These students will get total financial support while pursuing their education abroad. The contribution has been made under the 'Jagananna Videsi Vidyadevena' scheme. selected students can pursue a number of various degrees from foreign universities, including Law, medicine, management, engineering and journalism.
