After 2 years of lockdown, China has decided to open its borders for 'some' Indian students. China has said that it is highly concerned about the studies of Indian students studying in China and has shared the necessary protocols with the Indian side. It has also said that the fact that there is a huge number of students who have to return is understandable but China will only call a portion of them back for now considering the ongoing epidemic situation. This rule is applicable to all the other countries as well. The process for the arrival has been initiated from their side and India has to yet share its list of students with China. There are approximately 23000 students who have to return to China for their studies. Selection will be made on a need-assessed method.
