China has made certain amendments in its visa rules temporarily for Indian people. Indian citizens applying for tourist visa, business visa, another short term visa will no longer have to provide their biometric data. The changes are likely to remain in effect till the end of 2023. This has been done to boost tourism and business visits since China has still not recovered from the loss of pandemic. The Chinese visa cost somewhere around Rs.3800 to Rs.7000 depending upon the type and duration. China has also established direct communication channels in the embassy to help Indian citizens resolve any problem related to visas.
