Due to coronavirus, many students from China who had taken missions in international universities were studying online. But now the Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange has ordered the students to go to their respective universities and join offline classes. Now students will have to migrate to foreign countries to continue their higher education. The CSCE will no longer be offering certifications for any diploma degree that is obtained during the spring semester of 2023. This means that in order to have their degree affiliated and accredited, all the students will have to attend offline classes from their respective universities.
This decision has concerned the foreign universities as they have not been prepared to welcome the Chinese students. Around 40,000 Chinese students have taken admission in the universities of Australia. The new semester will begin in February which means that Australia will have to welcome 40,000 Chinese students in February. China has never been comfortable with the idea of online learning. This is why this decision has been taken.
