The National Medical Council board has made a landmark decision for the NEET 2024. By increasing the flexibility of the exam, NMC has decided that students with a non-biology background in their class 11th and 12th will be allowed to take the test. This will be applicable for students both in India and abroad. This decision will also be applicable on the previously rejected applications because of the same reason. This is a very significant decision and a massive change from the conventional eligibility criteria that NEET has followed for many years. This decision of NMC alliegns with the New Education Policy.
