Common mistakes you must avoid in your Law school application

posted on: December 19, 2022

We all know that law schools have a very peculiar criteria of selecting students. Your grades obviously matter when it comes to your selection. But law schools also look at the other prospects of your life and your achievements beyond your classroom. It is very important to convey your real mindset to the selectors for them to understand how you are different from others.

Make sure that you avoid using cliche statements like you're different from others and you have a futuristic vision. All of the statements sound really fabricated and copied so you must find something of your own. Also do not over exaggerate yourself and try to lecture someone. Keep your application as precise as possible. Avoid mentioning any famous movies or television series as your inspiration behind selecting this profession. There is a huge difference between the cinematic portrayal of law and the practical reality of law.
