Delhi University introduces single girl child quota for admission in undergraduate programmes

posted on: May 29, 2024

Delhi University is known to have a very diverse approach while giving admission to students. There is already a specific quota for students belonging to specific communities, parts of the country, and parents deployed in a particular profession. Now Delhi University has decided to add another quota by introducing a special admission process in cut-offs for single girl children. Last year Delhi University introduced an orphan child quota, making it compulsory for every college to have at least one male and one female student in every program of the college. This year there will be no significant changes in the admission process other than the introduction of single girl child quota. All the students who are the beneficiary of this quota will have to fill in necessary details on the CSAS portal.
