Like a lot of other universities, during the pandemic Delhi University also put a pause on its study abroad program. This was done because of the border restrictions that were imposed by a lot of countries. This hampered the movement of international students from one country to another for study abroad programmes. Now The study abroad program by Delhi University has been re-launched. OIE is offering a variety of study abroad programs that students can take advantage of.
In the year 2021 to 2022, 400 students went to different countries under the study abroad program of dew despite so many border restrictions. In the year 2022 to 23, the university plans to bring back the previous number of students going to study abroad under the DU study abroad program as it was before the pandemic. Study abroad facilitates cultural exchange and enhancement of a lot of experiences. Also these programmes increase the credit points of students during the tenure of their courses.
