Delhi University may soon introduce double/joint degree programmes for UG and PG students. In the first phase, the university plans to let students pursue their degree through a regular, distant mode. Also, the university will foster more global collaborations to let students spend at least a semester abroad. The proposal will be extended in the Academic Council meeting that is to be held on 30th November, 2023. Delhi University formed a committee in December 2022 to understand the relevance of a dual degree programme. Under this programme, students will be encouraged to spend a semester abroad and earn credits to increase the credibility of their degree. Delhi University will promote collaborations with the top 500 universities from around the world.
