Many European countries have revised their budget to increase expenditure on military and defence. This comes as a result of the Russian invasion on Ukraine. Germany has changed the decade-old freeze on defence expenditure. But this will cause fund cutting on other aspects of the country's expenditure. Many countries have hiked the budget for military expenditure and many are planning to do so. Since the day Russia announced the invasion of Ukraine, the arms market has risen at an exponential rate. Since then it was expected that European countries would expand their defence budget. Now the universities of Europe are fearing the cutting of funds as more attention will be given towards the border security and protection.
