Key figures of 2021 say that in 2021 after the pandemic there has been only a moderate decline of international students in the country. Before the pandemic, France was the sixth most popular student destination after Germany and Russia but ahead of Canada. The number has been growing at 23% for the last five years. The country has a very well developed scientific culture which attracts thousands of students from around the world. If you are planning to travel to France make sure that you are fully vaccinated before entering the country. You must submit a proof that you are free from corona. France has categorised universities on the basis of colours. Green” countries are safest from COVID-19, while “orange” countries experience controlled transmission, and “red” countries have active circulation. Check where your country stands. You may even have to stay in isolation after your arrival in France so also be prepared for that.
