JN Tata scholarship is for Indian students who are looking forward to going to foreign universities for their higher education. The scholarship offered by the Tata group is especially for students who want to pursue their masters, post graduate or PhD degree in a foreign university. Not everyone who has a dream of studying abroad can afford it. This is the reason why many entrepreneurs offer such scholarships to students. A student selected gets an amount of Rs.75,000 as a part of the scholarship. They're also given Rs.50,000 as travel allowance.
The candidate mostly gets the amount on the basis of their academic performance and merit. It is important for the student to be not more than 45 years as of June 30, 2023 to be eligible for the scholarship. Candidates were in their final year of the degree or also eligible to apply for their future endeavours. Also candidates can apply for the scholarship even after they have moved abroad for their higher education.
