In a recent interview, External Affairs Minister of India Mr S Jaishankar has described the resumption of Canada E visa as a logical consequence of the better political situation between the two countries. The resumption of E visa services for Canadian citizens means that the citizens of Canada can travel to India for business, medical and diplomatic purposes. This has been one of the major improvements since September 21.
Canada had already resumed its visa services for Indian citizens and most Indian students were able to get their student visas on time. But the only apprehension among Indian students going to Canada for higher education was the inability to come back to their country. Looking at the situation currently, it seems like now Indian students can go to Canada for higher education without any worries.
