Indian schools are increasingly accepting Finnish curriculum in their system. Finnish curriculum is known for its more learning by doing approach contrary to the Indian education system which focused more on rote learning. Recently The Academy School in Pune started following Finnish curriculum in their school. FinlandWay, which is aHelsinki-based preschool provider, is setting up three schools across Mumbai. Recently Mohan Bhagwat, who is the chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, appreciated and applauded the success of Finnish curriculum. But some people are worried as not all the schools will be able to follow this new system as it requires a lot of investment. This will lead to inequality and distinction between the type of education students will receive.
