France introduces a new deposit requirement for Non EU students

posted on: December 30, 2023

France has implemented a new deposit requirement for Non-EU students who wish to study in the country. This is a new requirement that has been introduced by France. Students will now be required to pay a deposit amount to get a student visa. This amount has not been specified by the country yet. It is a refundable amount that will be given back to students once they come to the country for higher education.

Many countries have similar deposit requirements for students. Although it is refundable, it poses serious problems for students initially as they have to arrange for a large amount of money to get the student visa. France is yet to reveal the exact amount of money that has to be deposited by students under this new deposit requirement.
