The education minister of Haryana Mr Kanwar Pal has announced that the Haryana government will be distributing free tablets to students from classes 10th to 12th in May. The decision has been given approval and a budget of Rs 100 crore has also been passed. The budget is divided into smaller fragments and purposes like sim cards, software, daily internet packs etc. The purpose of this is to bridge the gap between economically and underprivileged students. The tablet will help them in getting virtual classes which were earlier a luxury for many students and remain one.
