During the last year Germany offered scholarships to 3% more students than it did last year. According to data, around 29000 students received a scholarship in 2021. Back in 2018-19 around 27200 students received a scholarship. 471,600 new applications enrolled in the higher level universities of Germany in 2021. The Federal Statistical Office also informed that the number of students attending extra courses in the country also increased.
