Hike of 98% in study abroad loans

Following the endemic that is the end of the pandemic, there has been a 98% hike in the loan applications to study abroad comparing the first three months of 2020 and first three months of 2021. Tier 2 and tier 3 cities have contributed 176% in this growth.  The top 5 business schools for Indian applicants were INSEAD, London Business School, IESE Business School, Wharton School, Booth School of Business. Top 5 engineering colleges for Indian schools which received the most number of applications  were Northeastern University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Texas at Arlington, Arizona State University, University at Buffalo. The most preferred streams of students included Business, Engineering, Law, Public Policy and Science. The average loan amount that students applied for was 42k dollars.
