How are colleges focusing on mental health these days?

Colleges and universities have reported a large number of complaints from students about mental health issues that they have been battling. Especially after the pandemic, there has been an exponential rise in mental health-related issues among students. Responding to that, a lot of universities have started new initiatives to help students remain mentally healthy and fit. Behavioral health services are being offered within the college premises for free. Universities are organizing frequent mental health drives that help in spreading the message of taking professional help if one is going through mental health concerns. Universities and colleges are pointing to health professionals to help students battle problems like anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Universities and colleges and of focusing on developing a structure for planning an interdisciplinary leadership team that oversees mental health planning and engages faculty. Suicide prevention and no accessibility to suicidal stuff is also something that is being focused upon.
