How can an international student increase the chance of getting their student visa approved for Canada

posted on: April 15, 2024

Currently, Canada has adopted a zero net growth model for immigration in the country. This means that the country will be welcoming one immigrant for every immigrant that leaves the country so that the problem of over immigration can be tackled. Canada has also revised the final allocation for each province in the country. Each province in the country can only allot a certain number of student visas to international students. To enhance the overall chances of selections, students must carefully assess the per province student visa allocation. Provinces with a high number of seats allocation should be given more preference. For example, provinces like Alberta, and Quebec have the highest number of student visa allocations for 2024. This means that students won't have to face a very stringent competition as opposed to provinces that have very low allocations.
