The number of international students going from India has increased exponentially in these past few years. Because of favourable changes in the immigration policies of the UK, many people have moved to the country from India. But now with the new government, and the ongoing financial crisis, the UK is trying to mend its foreign and fiscal policy. Recently the home minister of the UK announced that international students will no longer be allowed to bring dependence along with them while studying in the UK. Only some selected courses will be allowed to get dependent visas. Also due to the high number of immigrants, the UK has also been experiencing an accommodation crisis where students have not been able to find places to stay.
