How to get selected in an Ivy League college by acing your application

posted on: December 16, 2022

As we all know, Ivy League colleges of the United States of America are among the top universities of the world. It is really hard to get into any of them as they are quite selective. Getting good grades in your high school and being active in extracurriculars doesn't guarantee selection in these colleges. In order to get selected in an Ivy League college you need to have a smart strategy that makes you stand apart from other applicants. Here are the ways through which you can write an application for Ivy League colleges that can help you stand out-

  • Start preparing for your selection in your high school only. It is the right time to pay attention towards yourself and develop yourself both externally and internally.
  • Make sure that you participate in all the activities such as voluntary services, sports, drama and dance. Try to get an overall experience of everything that your school provides you with.
  • Start preparing for your application 7 to 8 months before your final application dates. This will help you in revising your application over and over again so that you can work on your mistakes and shortcomings.
  • Make sure that you get your letter of recommendation written from your principal or school counselors.
  • Even if you're not really good at academics , try to compensate for it with other activities.
