How to save yourself from a financial crisis while studying in the UK?

It has been proven statistically that the living and eating expenses of an international student account for almost or even sometimes more than the annual tuition fees of the student. This means that living in the UK can be very expensive and students might end up facing a living expenses crisis. The inflation of the country is currently the highest it has been in the last 40 years at the rate of 10.1%. The effect is being felt by everyone living there. Due to this 76% of international students considered dropping out of their universities. Students must have 1023 pounds to 1,334 pounds per month to sustain themselves financially. Moreover, the Bank of England has officially announced that the inflation rate may pass 13%. Here are some ways you can overcome the living expenses crisis-

  • Contact your university and ask them to offer any sort of help that they can by explaining your situation.
  • Considering the inflation that is happening in the country, ask the owner of your workplace to increase your salary.
  • Look for scholarships and grants that may help you with your studies and living expenses.
  • Stop buying ready-made food from outside and instead start purchasing groceries and prepare your own news at your house.
  • Set a monthly budget for yourself and try to follow that every month.
