posted on: May 28, 2022

Under the UK's 'High Potential' visa students from the world's best non-british universities will be given the opportunity to come to the UK through a new High Potential Individual (HPI) visa route. Successful applicants will also have an additional 2 years work visa and PhD students will have a 3 years work visa. This will make the UK a hub for the world's greatest talents, innovations and ideas. Students from subjects like science, engineering and medical research from universities like Harvard and MIT will be welcomed. Indians studying in any of the top universities of the UK will also get a work visa for upto two years. Indian-origin UK Cabinet ministers Rishi Sunak and Priti Patel also informed about the same.
