Hundreds of international students from India who are currently studying in Canada might face deportation because of fake visas and acceptance letters. Some of the students have even completed their studies and are currently doing their full-time jobs. As per some media outlets, there are 700 such students who will have to face deportation. Although the number varies from person to person.
The immigration minister of Canada has said that it is very important for the country to take serious measures to stop such illegal processes. It is very important for the visa and immigration department to ensure that every person entering the country has authentic documents. Such forgery should not be accepted at any cost. Most of these students got their visas from a visa consultant based in Jalandhar, India. The Visa consultancy service fooled people and sent them to Canada with fake papers.
But now this week papers caught the eye of the immigration officials. Many students were saved even before coming to Canada. But the main problem is with the students who are already staying in Canada and have spent lakhs of rupees in their education which will now be invalid.
