IIT Delhi has got a global ranking of 45th in the field of engineering and technology by the QS World University Ranking. Other than this, the institute has also been ranked in eight other departments in the subject wise ranking. This includes computer science, electrical engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, and many more. The civil and structural engineering has received the highest ranking of 39 world wide. Other than this IIM Ahmedabad has got a global ranking of 22nd among business and management courses around the world. The Jawaharlal Nehru University has received an international ranking of 20th in the field of research and development. Overall, there has been a 17% progress in the involvement of Indian universities in the global rankings as compared to the previous year.
