The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has set up a new centre for music and learning for students. The centre has been named after the music maestro Ilaiyaraaja. The centre has been set after a great deal of research and a team that has profound knowledge related to the field of music. The institute realised that there were a lot of students on campus that were inclined towards music, but due to limited facilities, they couldn't do much. After much deliberation and thought, the idea of the centre was presented and then implemented. The institute will make the best use of advanced technology like AI to integrate it with music.
