Ever since Germany has uplifted the travel restrictions for international students, there has been a rise in demand for German universities among international students. A latest survey by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) concluded that around 330000 international students are enrolled in the German universities. There has been a 13% hike in the enrollment rate of first year students after the decline during last winter session. The increase comes majorly from students from Turkey, India, Iran, Italy and France. 31% of the German universities providing higher education saw an increase of at least 5% or more in the enrollment of international students.
